Depicting an allegory of Harvest; the Goddess Ceres, holding a scythe in exceptional chasing; inset into a sheaf of wheat raised on a plinth illustrating an agricultural scene; the whole supported by toupie feet. The porcelain dial by Lepaute, the famous dynasty of horlogers who were royal clockmakers for Louis XV, Louis XVI, as well as the courts of Provence, Parma, Spain and Sweden.
