One depicting the handsome god Apollo as engraved by Henri Guillaume Chatillon (French 1780-1856); inscribed lower center dessine et grave par Chatillon; the other of the earthy Venus Genitrix after Lorenzo Bartolini (Italian, 1777-1850); inscribed in the plate lower left and lower right drawn by Bartolini eng. B. R. V. Mansard; each stipple engraving in a contemporary red and gold wood frame with marbled French mat. Excellent condition. Provenance:Eugene Galleries, Boston, Massachusetts
