The beautiful rectangular back with out-scrolled arms and upholstered tight seat; above a serpentine apron featuring guilloche and rosette carving; the whole raised on tapering square legs with laurel leaf carving; retaining original muted green paint. Restorations to frame and later upholstery. Provenance:Privately, Paris, France
