A Distinctive Petite Louis XIV Commode Parisienne with Faux Tortoiseshell

Of rectangular form; with two lower rectangular drawers; surmounted by two smaller drawers centering one secret compartment; the whole raised on conforming legs; later painted as tortoiseshell in the manner of the mid-century French Designer, Emilio Terry. Good condition with restoration to original bronze dore handles.
